Wild Things creative workshops play with words, images and plants as a way to understand and connect with nature. We welcome people 15 yo plus with an interest in, passion for words and or images to create fresh ideas. No formal academic, technical or professional skills required.
Elle’s work for her MFA focused on plants from the in between spaces and the source of the development of the concept of these workshops. Elle is passionate about the natural world. As a gardener, landscaper and artist she continually explores how we interact with, view and manipulate the natural spaces around us. Elle has been a Franklin resident for over 21 years.
Jane is a writer who lectures in communication at AUT. Her lifelong interest in helping people to engage with the power and joy of words and ideas feeds much of her work. Her most recent writing explores the life of the kauri. Jane is a Franklin local, moving to the area in 2004.
