A community arts project bringing people together across the Franklin area to learn about the significant geographic area of Karioitahi Beach, and to take their part in creating imagery for an exhibition to be displayed in the Waiuku War Memorial Hall.
Open to all ages, the project runs through the two weeks of the school holidays at the end of September. Morning and afternoon sessions available, subject to weather and numbers are limited for each session.Make fantastic sculptures on the beach by manipulating the magnetic properties of Titanomagnetite, found in the sands on Karioitahi Beach.
