Description: Local artist Prem Tyler presented 3 Tapestry Weaving Workshops in East Franklin at the Log Cabin in Beachlands, in May and June, with the final workshop in Sept 2025. These full day workshops are for adults, utilizing NZ wool yarns and frame looms. Many participants are new to weaving, while others are developing their skills, several took the opportunity to purchase their own looms to keep working on their technique post workshop. The Log Cabin was a good location for this activity as it provided a serene and intimate environment for co-working and sharing food in breaks.
