​Description: The Pohutukawa Children’s Choir is an initiative launched by musician, educator and parent Rhianon Philpott. Weekly classes were free to participate in for local kids, with end of year concerts that included rest home performances (pictured above). The group was supported by Ray White auction rooms in Beachlands, providing space.
 
Outcomes :
• supporting arts activities for juniors and young people
• enabling arts educators to work within their local environment
• building arts networks in Eastern Franklin (Beachlands)
