Since their inception in August 2024, Pohutukawa Coast Arts Hub has gone from an idea to a formal Charitiable Trust formed to encourage, support organise and develop all forms of artistic and creative activities and learning for the benefit of the local community. In the past year the group has produced 15 classes, delivered to a total of 96 students, including: kids craft classes, kids hip hop & k-pop dance, resin art workshops and classes, Christmas wreath making, intro to flax weaving, art therapy classes, clay hand-building class, beginners sewing, artist meet up, Franklin Arts Trail, and wellbeing Day.
